Reading the sample
- Empty date cells mean that stage has not appeared in the data yet.
- Some rows are not new independent restaurants: a chain location, a hotel or a venue adding a licence can appear. We filter most noise, not all of it.
- There are no phone numbers or emails; the public records do not contain them.
Frequently asked questions
Is the sample real data?
Yes. The rows are real public records from the week of Oct 17-23, 2026, picked across Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio and other Texas cities.
Why does the sample leave out a column?
The sample omits the legal-entity (registered owner) name. The weekly file has the business name, address, stage and dates shown here.
